4. Taking my time. Whatever it is, it's always better when I can take my time. No, nothing quick and painless in my repertoire.

| Been a while... |

It's been a while since I posted an update. I've been busy getting in shape, trying out new elixers, and doing long contract negotiations with otherworldly powers.
But this past weekend, I got out and hit the party circuit. I "accidentally" bumped some guys drink down his pants, and he got in such a huff and demanded either an apology or a fight, one-on-one, hand-to-hand. Now, I haven't apologized since... well, let's just say it's been a while.
So I agreed to the fight, a right and proper high duel of fisticuffs and kung fu. It had been a while, and I was looking forward to it. A space cleared around us, and I did this elaborate Tai Chi sequence that ended in a nice fighting stance with a little Neo-style "come hither" hand wave.
Of course, by then, three of my bodyguards had a clear line of fire.
It was a short fight.
There's a moral in there somewhere, but I was never good at morals. |

Hmmm... I thought I was my own legend. That's the problem with being an evil overlord. Our PR department sucks. Then again, they only get about four months of on-the-job training before being ritualistically sacrificed to the legal department. |

I'm just kickin' around the fortress, waiting on some torture results. I almost went down to the dungeon myself, just to relieve the boredom, but I know Vladamir hates it when I interrupt his work. He's doing a long-term slow torture this time, keeping the poor fellow on the rack for six days while dripping an increasingly acidic compound on his forehead. And yet, no results so far, not even a rescue attempt.
I'm starting to think Superman doesn't particularly care what happens to Mr. Kent. |
